Male or female convict

Do u think it's a male or female

This was one of two black convicts I bought from petsmart. The other convict was clearly female due to the red on the stomach. This one must be male due to no red stomach but I don't remember male black convicts having blue coloration

Bit young to tell. Mature females get orange on the belly. Males get longer pointed dorsal (top) and anal (bottom) fins.

Watch the tail on the fish, it looks a bit rayed and damaged. It should heal up by itself if the tank is clean.
