Up for adoption to a caring home is a healthy 3.5" adult male kribensis. I am looking for someone who has a female kribensis
and/or is looking to breed kribs. Mature, cycled tanks only please. My male krib is around 1.5 years old and so far
has only shown interest in frozen foods (brine shrimp, bloodworms).
Kribs are an African riverine cichlid, so you cannot put them in with the Rift Lake cichlids which require higher pH.
They breed easily. If you plan to breed them in a community tank, the tank should be large enough so that the kribs
have their own space. Otherwise, they'll end up injuring the other fish. If you just intend to keep one breeding pair in a tank,
a minimum of a 20 gallon long is recommended.
My water parameters are: pH = 7, GH = 4, KH = 3.
Adoption fee is $10.
