my 20 gallon long tank is partitioned into approximately 12 gallons for krib fry and 8 gallons for a 2" male krib and now 4 1.5" rosy barbs. the fry will be going to a buyer tomorrow so the male krib and rosy barbs will have the whole tank to themselves after the divider is removed.
but what i'm worried about is if the rosy barbs will survive through tonight. i've seen the male krib attack and chase the rosy barbs. usually, he doesn't even come out of his flower pot cave.
will the male krib kill one or more rosy barbs if i turn off the light? would leaving the light on for tonight be better for the barbs?
