Male Krib Acting Strange

I have a feamale and a male kirbensis the I got them at the exact same time. The female pecks and the ground and she eats and acts normal but the male is slow breaths a little heavier than normal he dosnt eat and he hides behind things but do wont hide in tight spaces

They are in a twenty gallon with two kuhli loaches two male balloon rams guppy fry two guppies and some assasian snails

The tank is clean 0 nitrate 0 ammonia 15 nitrite

He is coming out more now but he is still breathing heavy


It looks like hes been pooping out like a price of hair for the last couple days
