My Blue Diamond Guppies Are Finally Starting To Get Some Color. I've Had This Guy In The Male Tank From Day 1. I'm pretty sure it is a late developing male which is what i want seeing as they throw better fry then the fast maturing small bodied ones anyways here is a pic your thoughts on the situation please. I can get a different pic if need be

The reason im thinking its male is i saw a pic on some site *forgot which site* of a late developing male and the fin is real pointy wouldnt it be more rounded if it was a female?

i think 8 weeks is a bit early to be sure, could take another 4 weeks before its completely obvious.

Well as all photo look like the anal fin is developing into a gonopodium i think it's quite possible a male.

However there is little colour to the body which is where you expect to see colour first many fish.

But I'll say with out seeing it in person I'm 75% sure it's a male.

Thats What I Had Thought. And As Far As I Know The Blue Diamonds Are Plain Grey With The Blue Tail.
