I have 3 male guppies. I recently three days ago bought 2 female guppies. I noticed this morning when i checked the tank that one male guppy way dead and also a female. Now one of my male guppies has like a white cloud over its entire head. (mouth and eyes). note sure what the problem is. I looked at the other fish in the tank and no other signs of this. What could be the problem?

I agree with the above poster.

We need tank size.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

Does the white cloud look like fluffy cotton wool on the fish.

Thanks for the quick replies. Tank is just under two months.

29 gal. long

Temp 75-76 degrees

Check water stats two weeks ago. They were all in good range.

Current Fish:

Red eyed Tetra - 6
Harlequin Rasbora - 3
halfbeak - 1
bluecrawfish - 1
Ghost Shrimp - 15
Catfish (forgot the name of it asian kind) - 1
Endler's - 3
Male Fancy Guppy - 2
Female Guppy - 1

Now i am not sure if the male guppies were fighting over the female or not. I did noticed yesterday that the white surrounding the one male guppy has cleared up a lot.

Can you post water stats please.
Also the name of the test kit you are using.

Your tanks abit on the overstocked side.
Do you need so many shrimp in the tank?
