Male guppies

Does anybody else boy guppies constantly fight? I only have 4 of them and I’m wondering if maybe I should get a couple more so there’s more of them. Really don’t want to put any females with them

What size tank? I've heard males can be a little feisty .

Depending on the tank size the more you have the better.

they are fighting for top position in the group. when they finish working out who is top fish, it should settle down.

adding some more plants can help

Thanks guys. I have 55 gallon so I’ll probably add some more. Might have to go with females but hoping a couple more males might settle these 4 down

If you add more males, make sure they are smaller than the ones that are fighting or the new comers will be bashed.
