male female swords

im givin sum of my future fry 2 a frend but i was wonderin if u can tell the diiference wiv 2 month old fry sice they dont have a sword yet or as far as i kno a gondapodium ) is there a way cuz i dont want 2 give him all males or 2 males 1 female

i had some that didn't develop "male parts" until about 9 months....so there needs to be some luck involved in giving males and female fry away

i have proly 14 fry a few are adults now of red velvet swords only one is a male!!!! and didnt evolve to a male for about 6 weeks, u can see a lil stub of a tail to start but its takes a while..is there a varibale with male fem ratio? jezz i have new batches all the time and no more males?
