Male Female Question

i have a kennyi and ive had him or her for a long time now and i still dont know how to tell them apart.... he is a pale blue with dark almost a midnight blue stripes on his or her body.... i know the way to tell is by the color but...... he or she is older now and i still dont know i cant put up pics right now my camera broke but if you need anymore details just let me know........ please help me give my fish a gender......

Sounds to me like a female, males turn yellow once they reach sexual maturity while females retain the juvenile blue w/blue stripes coloration.
