Male Dwarf Gourami With Tetras?

Does anyone have any experience with this combination? I'd like to get a gourami in my tank but I'm afraid the tetras will nip him up.

29 US gal
-5 harlequin rasboras
-5 lemon tetras
-2 platies
-5 kuhlii loahes
-1 emerald corydora (may be rehomed)

I want to get one male dwarf gourami (Colisa lalia)

i have a dwarf gourami with neons, black widow tetras, and glowlight tetras and ive never had a single nip.....

My Gourami and Tetras just igored each other, I kept neons and black neons with my opaline gourami.
