Male Chasing Pregnant Females (Platy)

I have 3, possibly 4 heavily pregnant female platys. My red male keeps chasing them around the tank as if he wants to mate with them. I'm worried that the females might get stressed and could lose their fry. Should I remove him or leave them alone?

Put the male in another tank untill the female drop, if you have another tank setup. Or if they are that heavily pregnant, try putting the female in a breeding net untill she drops her fry.

Its very normal for males to do this,especially if they are due to drop fry,the male will follow the female eat any fry she drops and be the first to mate with her...

I don't want my fry to be eaten! I only have a 10L nursing tank so i'm going to have to leave them together. This is going to take some good timing with the breeding net as i don't want to stress her out too much...
