Male Betta With Black Ruby Barbs?

Pretty much as the title suggests, does anyone know if i could keep a male betta in a tank with 6 black ruby barbs, 6 rainbows and 1 bristlenose catfish? The barbs i've had for about 6 months and they are not at all aggressive towards the other species and i know they are not known fin nippers like tiger barbs

i think they might be a bit nippy with it. and some bettas might be fine with them but others like to live on there own and will attack anythink so i wouldnt risk it

In a word i would say no.

The barbs would most likely strip his fins off.

Bettas are one of those fish you will never be able to predict so this point of view alone I would say no regardless of the other fish
