i have 2 questions.

1 is that the trumpet snails in my goldie pond are eating the plants, what can i do?
its a 55g pond with 2 goldies and 1 shubinky and about 100000 snails.

2nd can i take 1 or 2 of these malaysian trumpet snails and put them in my 10g to help with my pleco as a clean up crew? :hey:

and lastly can i feed malaysian trumpet snails to dp's

as in dwarf puffers

Trumpet snails do not eat plants. They're carnivorous and scavengers, so something else, like your goldfish are eating the plants or you have pond snails. They are notorious for eating and damaging plants.

You can move them in there, they'll reproduce like bunnies on Viagra but they don't eat waste unless it's uneaten food.

You can feed them to your dwarf puffers though some people think they will break the puffers teeth, I've heard otherwise so you might be taking a chance. IMO it won't harm your puffers but I'm just stating my opinion.

Malaysian trumpet snails don't eat plants, so they are not your culprit and i have heard their shells can be a bit too hard for puffers to stomach.

Edit: teelie beat me to it
