Making Them Feel Comfortable

When I rescape my tank Im thinking about dulling down the sand by mixing some black sand in.

Anyone done this and have any pictures?

Hi have a look at kiriyama's tanks they all have black sand mixed with slightly lighter.

I have the Caribsea fine grade cichlid sand in the 48ltr"fishbox" and the Fluval Roma240, nice stuff, very soft , even caught the Duboisi spitting it all over the rocks today I have a mixture of sands (inc. black) in the Elite95ltr and in the 190ltr"shop counter" coral gravel topped by sand, fine grade cishlid sand and black sand (all a bit messy)
