I fed the upstairs fish and noted we were out of catfish pellets up there. So I went downstairs and fed the big tank and poured a handfull of pellets out into my right hand to take up just to cover them for tonight.
Now, inspired, as I sometimes am, to do late night things, and enjoying a challenge. I made my son a beaker of juice and put it in the fridge for morning, I singled out a chocolate doughnut onto a plate in case he got up WAY before me, so he wouldn't have to sit about hungry (he won't come wake me, he likes his early morning parent-less domain) and I thought I might also make myself a coffee to take up with me - all with one hand!
I was marvelling at my skills at opening and closing jars, literally "single handedly" and wondering how hard life would be if I always had to do things with one hand, when I inadvertantly took my mind off the task, and as I was almost finished, job just about done, I picked up my Sweetex and clicked them into my hand as usual and threw them into my coffee complete with the whole handfull of catfish pellets. YUCK.
Bummer.
