I'm headed up to Richmond tonight (Va) to get some discus. Its about a 2 hr drive. Hopefully my 3 yr old and 5 month old will handle it fine lol. I'm excited tho. I've been waiting for two months. My 125 has been more than ready for a while, I've just been waiting on my lfs to get some in. Well they aren't moving fast enough so I'm taking matters into my own hands. (Actually.. my lfs's suppliers had some discus plague wipe out the whole stock so they haven't been able to get any. They are trying to get some locally, but its taking them some time to get it set up.) I've just run out of patience. I've never been to this place before but it comes highly recommended and sounds promising!

Awesome! I'm still waiting for mine to cycle and get Discus too.

Since you are so far away, i would suggest you ask the sellers to bag each fish individually, and see if they can add pure oxygen. It will really help with the Discus' stress :)

Good luck!

Yup did that. :) And I got them from Azalea Aquariums. They have a website. azaleaaquariums.com
I got two blue pigeon bloods and two blue diamonds. The pigeon bloods are doing awesome. I'm worried about one of the blue diamonds and keeping an eye on the other. One is NOT happy right now and the other is just not sure what to think. The one that I'm keeping my eye on is swimming around with the pigeon bloods and eating as well, but the other is hiding and looking dark. I took my time in acclimating them. Their water conditions were quite different from mine so I took all the proper steps. The stress may have just been too much on this one tho. Here are some pics:

The blue diamond in this pic is the one I'm keeping my eye on. I couldn't get a pic of the one I'm worried about

Update:

The one I was worried about, well I'm still a little worried but I just saw him eating so I'm a little less worried now.
