Making A Betta Flare

My fren tried to make his black copper HM flare all the time but he always could not get it to.....

Is there any methods to make him flare??

Putting a mirror in front of him should make him flare.

Yeah. We got a video of our betta Steve flaring by putting a mirror by the tank. He also likes to flare randomly at our backing picture too. And sometimes he takes offence to the heater and flares at that.

Also, when I wear my silk pyjamas or a bright top near the tank he gets a bit shirty.

nib of a biro also works too! (i guess it looks a bit like a fish head )

but sometimes you get chilled bettas that don't flare at anything.
