major changes

this is my tank position right now
40 gal - 5 Assorted Dwarf Cichlids, 2 checkerd rainbows,5 assorted corydoras, 2 bnoses, 5 neon tetras, 4 glow light tetras,1 juvie sev

24 gal -1 gold fish

5 gal hex. tank - 1 female Betta

12 gal - fry tank(molly)

now what i want to go is:

sell the molly fry and put the neons and glo lights and corys in the 12 gal.

sell the goldfish then put the 5 dwarf cichlids(2 small male bolivians,1 checkerboard cichlid,2 female keyholes.) in the 24 gal,

then sell the chekred rainbows which leaves me with a sev and 2 bnoses in the 40gal and then im gonna get 2 male convicts and maybe some fire mouths

what you think?

Moving those cories and tetras to the 12 gallon would make it over-stocked. What kind of cories do you have BTW?

I think your 24 gallon would be a very bad idea. Not only would it be overstocked, but you are mxing all those cichlids and usually you should only have one kind of cichlid in a small tank (if any). I am not entriely sure how aggressive the ones you mentioned are but they are cihclids.

Those cichlids aren't particularly aggressive but keyholes aren't dwarfs - they grow to 4.5 inches and the checkerboard to 3 inches... I think the bolivians are smaller but I'm not sure.

sold the cories dont worry, but im preety sure the tetras would be fine.

keyholes are dwarf acaras and are as peacful as blue rams, right now this is all temporary. and btw the checkerboard is only 2-3 cms at the most. and the bolivans are 1 inch each

Still seems like a bit too mch cichlid (not to mention too many kinds) for such a small tank.

as i said its only temporary and plus im mite get a new tank soon so its just minor stay while i get everythign ready and theyll move back to the 40 gal
