Ok, my Majestic has periodic loss of color right between his eyes but a little higher.
Definately not ich.... I can't help wondering if this is the beginning of "whole in the head" The color eventually comes back. No stress in tank... everyone appears healthy and eating is varatious for all members.

Whatdaya think???

my tang had that problem and use to look a bit dull in the morning then brighten up but now i have a night light its been fine and colourfull from morning to night, thats what happend to me but i would get some more opinions before you can defenatly say what it is

i've got night lights too.... and i simulate dusk and dawn for a bout an hour before the 10k come on or off...... wish this was it !!! i hope its nothing, just the way some angels are ......oh please......

do you keep any light on at all through out the night i have 5 blue LEDs that stay on 24/7 they do not harm anything in the tank + the moons allways out

I am experiencing something similar with my eibli angel.
he has patches of discoloration around his eyes and top of head.

No not night lights, 4 lunar LED's... so yea, lights on at night too.
Sorry for the confusion.

hyrookin- do you have lunar lights on at night???
how long has your eibli demonstrated this color loss???

my fuzzy dwarf has the bald spot as well sometimes. It seems to go away after i feed him, but other than that i have no clue why he does this He's had it ever since I got him
