Well I have been looking for a good forum on fish keeping and this looks like it. 
I am 34 female and work as a cook/corporate trainer for Max and Erma's.
I love reading and am a huge fan of Tolkien. I have even learned a bit of Elvish and My Chihuahua mix dog, Pippin is trained in this language.
I also have 2 horses, 2 cats, 4ferrets and of course fish.
I got my first tank when I was about 11 or 12.
Several years ago my Step fater found this big acrylic tank with a stand in a dumpster and brought it home. I traded him a car trailer for it. It sat in my kitchen for about 2 years before I finally started seting it up. This past summer I finally have been stocking it and doing some decorating and such and I am so hapy with it.
The tank is 80 Gallons
Currently I have in it:
2 opalescent goramies
2 blue goramies
4 diamond tetras
4 skirted tetras
4 glow light tetras
4 lepord danios
1 black shark
1 gold wonder killi
about 20 fancy guppies
The guppies were the ones I used to get the tank started.
The killi is big now at 2 years old I really want ot get more and maybe try breeding Killies. But for now I am not adding any more fish to this tank. I would like to get some blue tetras and some more killies and glow lights but I need to figgure out if there will be enough room for them.
Mostly the guppies are to provide live food for the others especially the killi.
I know sound awful but the fishe like the idea.
