One of the paradise fish species I acquired from a good friend of mine, is the Macropodus spechti. When my friend bought them, they were very young and labeled as blue Spechti paradise fish. Now as they're adults, they've turned wild colored instead. Nevertheless, they are very gorgeous fish to look at. They're now together with my Kallmanni swordtails (Xiphophorus kalmanni). This combo works just fine. They even leave those swordtail fry completely alone just like the adult swordtails do. These paradise fish love spending time among the overgrown Anubias plants when they're not swimming in the open.
