Ok, so this isn't realy an emergency yet as i havn't had any fish die yet but i am getting a bit concerned now.
Basically a couple of days ago one of my molly fry(about 4months old now) started getting a rather large stomache. I thought it was maybe constipation as i'd been feeding my fish quite alot of high protein foods recently so i chucked in a cooked, de-shelled pea in for her to eat. She did eat some of it and then went back to the normal buisness of patrolling the tank with her sister fry, acting perfectly happy and normal.
But her stomache still got larger. I thought maybe it was some kind of internal bacterial infection, so i treated the tank with some med. 2 days on and her stomache has just got worse but its getting realy weird now; on one side it has a rather large lump while on the other a large but much smaller lump located to where a gravid patch would normally be located in an adult livebearer, and both seem to have gotten bigger too.
All the other fish are acting fine apart from a platy which is spending alot of time at the bottom of the tank but still eating normally.
Water stats are 0 ammonia and nitrite with about 9 nitrate.
Im beginning to figure this is some sort of internal parasite but i've never seen anything like it; she's a dark dalmation fry so its difficult to say wether there's anything unusual in texture in the lumps or any spots but thats about it.
The anti internal bacterial med doesn't seem to be affecting the growth of the lumps.
Thats all i can think of for now.
Any ideas or suggestions as much appreciated as i realy don't know what to do now...? I did a water change last night if that helps.

cant really tell without seeing the fish but it could be a tumour on her kidney.

Thanks for the sugestion, i'll try to get some pics but im realy bad at that kind of thing so i can't realy promise anything...

I thinking tumour, or internal paraites, what does it look like when the fish goes to the toilet.

The poo looks normal and the fry is acting/looking perfectly normally apart from the lumps.
I think you may be right on the tumor, is there anything that causes these in particular and should i be thinking of putting the fry down- is there anything i can do?
