Lump On My Red Tail Shark

hes developed a lump on his left side half way down his body its turned white about 3mm he seems fine in him self and all other fish have no signs of ill health the waters changed regular.

Size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

The lump does it look hard or soft liked filled with fluid.
Lumps that suddenly appear are usually bacterial.
All you can do is issolate the sick fish and try a bacterial med.
