Hi all, first post in this section. For the last 18 months (since I went large with a 4ft tank) I've been using a 40w Hagen Power-Glo tube in a standard hood. In the next few weeks, I'm going to buy an Arcadia 4ft overtank luminaire 2x38w (the one on supports). Any recommendations as to which combination of tubes would be best?. I have a freshwater community tank, nothing unusual plant-wise, but never had any trouble with plant growth, due to a good undergravel fertiliser. Any ideas greatly welcomed.

If you plan on replacing the lamps that come with it, then you could go for an Interpet Daylight Plus for nice colour rendition, and an Interpet Triplus for plant growth. The two together may an excellent combination that gives a very pleasing overall look IMO.

Thanks for that, Dave; I can't make out in the photos I've seen which lamps they come fitted with - would you know?.

Hi Dave, I didn't include a photo; I just meant that it seems to be the same one on every site where I've looked at the Luminaire. Reading a little more here, it seems the Interpet tubes are the best options, so I'll go with those. Thanks for the recommendation.
