Luc's Planted Tank

I have added in 3 female cherry barb. :)

Cool. You should be able to see them visibly in pairs soon.

I am still waiting for them to pair, one of the male behaves aggresive towards the males and females. They just need some time to get together well. :)

I bought 2 albino cory too, but they seems very scare, keep exploring up and down. :)

how long have you had the tank running mate? really like the look of it! ithink now you have barbs you should choose carefully as i tink they have a tendancy to fin nip!

I planted this tank end of November last year. Did some rescaping, and kept adding in new plants as it goes.

Thank you for liking it.

These barbs are not too aggresive, but active. So far nipping is still not an issue yet, but later don't know yet. ;)

Thank you for the reply.

beautiful tank :)

If I were you (and you had the room to do so) I would get the # of cories up to 4 or more. Like many other species they tend to be more active in larger groups.

Thank you. :)

The 2 cories are so playful, they tend to search for food at the bottom. They are still adapting themselves to the new place. Mmmm... haven't thought of getting more, will see how first. :)

I have rescape the right part of the tank, trimmed the big plants off.

I am looking for plants to fill the right back corner of the tank, I have rescaped it and left that corner empty now.

Any suggestions on what plants to fill in there?

I have just bought some moss, that guy said it is "whipping" moss, I am not sure the spelling for its name. Heeeee.... ;)
And I bought a big green lotus plant.

I am still looking for some back ground plant, I will rescape my tank tonight, and plant the moss onto my drift woods, if has extra then will plant some on rock too. :)

I will post pics once it is done. :)

Thank you Radar. I have to check on the plant you recommended, not sure how it looks yet. :)

Thank you millym.

Instead of cracking my head alone, I think I could get some helps from you guys in giving me some suggestions to rescape my tank.

Any suggestions are welcome....

Thank you funkyhoney.
If you are keen to start a planted tank, you can always go to the planted tank forum to learn more before you start, there are many experienced aquarists willing to help you up.
For fund, you can start with a low tech planted tank. A low tech planted tank could look very nice too. :)
