Low Tech 320L - How Do I Go About It?

sorry ZZ, for the late reply. Just remember you can't OD the ferts, however, you don't want to waste the ferts either, cos they're not cheap!. You do need to dose the size of the tank. With that plant mass you could take it up to 8ml and see how you get on. I would just observe the plants on 8ml, because the mass is'nt that high.

thanks, much appreciated!

for the last three days I have been dosing 10ml TPN+ and 7ml EasyCarbo (got 250ml left, so why not?) is that still in the ballpark?

Once the Carbo runs out, should I scale back to 8ml TPN+?

When that goes I'm looking at TNC as a replacement. Anyone know if an analysis has been made on the actual content and if it's a good alternative to TPN?

Zoddy when you run out of TPN+ seriously consider using the EI dosing. As you know it will work out far cheaper for your tank size and your wallet will love you.

I bought this, http://www.aquariumplantfood.co.uk/fertilisers/dry-chemicals/starter-kit/ei-starter-kit.html

Comes with all the instructions on how to mix/dose and so on, really really easy.

If you do decide to go with this method and buy that pack you wont regret it. Oh and if you do give it a go keep your old empty bottles on tpn+ to use for mixing. You get 2 with the pack but a couple more are handy to have.

I have never used the TNC due to cost again. So im sorry i cannot help on that 1.

Oh and those lights on the tank, MY EYES !!!! hehehe.

thanks, are you dosing or injecting carbon? I've seen posts on here that suggest you only need to add phosphates and nitrates if you are doing so.

I am running pressurised Co2 mate.

Im dosing all of the ferts that came with the pack.
