i need to make my 55G tank look nice but also low maintinence, what are some good plants to use that are very nice and are low maintinece.

A few common plants you can get that I think are low maintenence are Java Ferns, Java Moss(difinately low maintenence), Amazon Swords, and Hornwort. Thats just a few, I'm sure others will tell you many more.

oh wow, nothing with color? what if i atleast get a cheap CO2 fizzler?

Well I'm sure there is something colorful you can get without the Co2(maybe not) I was just giving you a few I knew of. I know of those plants because you can use them in betta tanks without Co2. Lol, I'm a betta nerd. Hopefully someone else will be able to give you some more help then I have so you maybe wont end up having to get that co2 fizzler.

Hygrophilla polysperma. (i think thats right)

Anyways either way I put this plant in my tank and it grew very well. I was not adding any nutrients or co2 and I don't have that great amount of light. 1.23 WPG to be exact. this is definatley a easy to grow plant.

The problem with alot of colourful plants is that they tend to need alot of light and therefore CO2 and nutrients. Especially the plants that have red in them. I can't think of any plants that will keep their red colour in a low light tank. They may grow, but the colour will fade away. There may be some suitable, but off the top of my head, I can't think of any, sorry. The only other way would be to go for different shades of green which if done properly can look fantastic.
