i just bought a 55 gallon tank with 30w of lighting. (0.6 wpg) this would normally be a big problem, but it is a really long tank with only 18'' height.

i also bought an adjustable diffusor, which can either make big or small bubble, so i can control how much co2 actually dissolves.

i was wondering if using diy co2 would benefit the plants? i'm also using ferts.

Thats a standard 55gal. I could not grow java moss in mine with the 30watts of lighting. CO2 may help a little, but don't be surprised if nothing grows.
