if i can find a blue male platy will he have more of a chance to breed with my fem blue than my orange wag?

lol nope, livebearers dont really care what the other sex looks like, you should buy atleast another 2 female platies, so that the male will not have just 1 female to harrass, what size is your tank?

Platies, like most livebearers, will mate with anything. If there are no females available, males will try to mate with males too. That's what they do in life.

Aww I have 3 of these platys, the guy that I get my fish from said there called crystals * or some thing* there so pretty!!!
