Lots Of White Spots

Hey my platy has lot's of white spots and now the other fish have at a few. I am currently using a medication that treats
Whitespot
Velvet
Costiasis

Can you help me?
Is this any of the diseases above?
How did i cause it?
How can i treat it?
How can i prevent it next time?

your fish has white spot it can be caused by stress,tapping on the glass and have you bought any fish lately?if so dont tip the water that the fish came in into your tank as that could be the problem.

i had a 2ft and it got infected with whitespot and i lost at least $100

Also, you need to check your water stats. Fish often get sick when they are stressed, and often a major stressor is bad water quality.

Slowly increasing the temperature (no more than 2 degrese F per day) to 82-84 will help speed up the life cycle. I know you have plecos so make sure you only use half the meds, as they are sensitive the water. Watch for signs of stress with the increased temp, adding an air stone can help add extra oxygen.
