I fully planted my 29 gallon tank yesterday and bought a 65 watt coralife plant light yesterday.

the plants are as follows:

java moss
something called green hedge
cardinal plants
lots of water wisteria
two types of rotala
dwarf saggitaria
telanthera
micro sword
aponogenton cripus - bulbs from walmart
water lilies - bulbs from walmart

I still have my four serpaes and i added a female betta that seems happy

I need some algea eaters that eat black brush algea, and filamentous/ hair algea. I have identified these algaes in my tank, but they are in preety small quantities, so im not too worried, i still have time to save my plants ( if i can).I have heard that siamese algea eaters will eat black brush algae, but they get 6", preety big for my tank. I had two ottos, but they died.

Can anyone help me? What fish will eat the algae that dont get over 3-4 inches?? Is there a treatment i can do to get rid of the algae that wont hurt anything in my tank?

thanks :S

oh and i added co2 yesterday too

"Green hedge" isn't a true aquatic plant. Should probably remove that one.
