Well, I got my 29 gallon tank cycled and have now added my fish from my 10 gallon plus we got some new ones. I removed the betta while the new fish were adjusting to their new home. I have put the betta back in hoping their won't be a problem. He is 'flaring' at all the fish. I hope you know what I mean 'cause I can't describe it any other way. One of the mollies is nipping at him constantly. The other fish just swim away when he flairs at them. I have 6 pregnant guppies and it looks like one of my platies is pregnant. Should I remove the betta? I'm not concerned about him eating the babies. I had 21 guppy fry that he already ate. But I don't want him stressing my pregnant fish.

Thanks. :)

My betta won't tollerate any tankmates. He even ate two otto's in the tank. He'll flare at me if I get too close to the tank! lol But on the other side, my friend had a male betta with a bunch of guppies and a couple of the older fry would but him and he didn't seem to care. Sounds like yours is more like mine and needs his own home. Sorry.

My fiance is telling me the same thing. "Take him out, I'm telling you, take him out." lol Guess I should. He just looks so pretty swimming amongst the other fish. Into the vase he goes!

Thanks.
