Lost One Ram To Hith

Well, my 2 rams have had HITH for about 2 weeks. I removed the carbon from their tank and treated with metrodizanole vitamin c with frequent water changes. The HITH did not seem to be progressing, but yesterday I found one of my rams had passed. I want to desperately try to save the other.

Here is my idea:
- I want to move the ram to a hospital tank where I can monitor him more carefully and increase treatment potency. Would it be okay if I moved the ram to a 3 gallon hospital tank where I can add aquarium salt, more vitamin C, and metrodizanole?

Yes it should be fine if you have a heater and airstone.
What makes you think he still has hole in the head as the wounds can take a while to heal.
