lost fish

hi peoples, wonder how many have the same kinda story, i just cleaned oput me external filter on one of the tanks and low and behold i found 5 lost neon tetras happily swimming in the bottom of the filter, recused back to one of the main tanks, and swimmings about normaly(althou took a while for the colors to come back they dont look harmed or stressed which ie pheeew!)

have to check the filter more often when i loose fish , thought they had been eaten..

happens with my platy fry all the time they seem to be able to swim in and out (internal filter), I was really worried for a while but they seem to be ok although every now and then one disappears for good don't like to think what happened to it inside the filter You can try putting tights around the filter but that stops some of the waste going in so isn't perfect

cry, put a fine strainer over the intake, stops fish getting in Mac.
