Losing My Tiger Barbs Fast

Well in the last year I have lost four barbs.


I lost one almost immediately so had six then I accidentaly when we moved tank found one dead that had jumped overboard or out the bucket.


I lost one Friday night thought it had swim bladder ? swam the way they like that as if they are drunk.

This morning I came down at four to find another one.

I am now left with four should I buy some more? Had them about three year now and not over awed by them.

I have still the 400 Jewel Rio with

4 Silver sharks - returning as soon as I get a round to it

5 clown loach returning soon

1 Gibicepts- returning soon, but again need a day when I can pack them up and drive to the shop after catching the silver sharks and loach.

1 Golden Gouramis

4 Green Tiger Barbs.


I could just re stock the barbs for now and wait until we get around to another tank or return the fish.

They are nice but I am unsure of their temperment and in the back of my mind would like Discus and they will not go with them .
However the Gouramis would also have to go too so unsure I want to get rid of 100 % of my tank
