Over the last few days i have lost 2 platys and 1 guppy and i am wondering why.

My water stats are fine:-

Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
P.H 7.0

I have noticed that my big rainbow fish (about 9cm) chases another rainbow fish around all the time and now and again it chases other fish like my gourami and rams and sometimes my rasboras.

I don't know whether this fish is causing big problems and maybe bullying fish to death?

The 3 fish that died seemed perfectly healthy so i dont know what is happening in my tank.

My rams are fine, they chase each other now and again but they never cause any problems, i have a very small angelfish which is about 4cm and that keeps itself to itself and never causes any problems.

If there's a problem obviously i want to sort it out but i dont really know what to do.

Don't know if it's your big rainbow fish but I lost several healthy looking fish when a male swordtail started bullying all the fish. I got 3 females to try & carm him down but he killed then in a couple of days. He then started where he would attack new fish when they were in the floating bag.

I had to give him away in the end.

I have found platies and guppies quite mentally fragile and prone to going to pieces after a shock, so it could well be that the tank's just been too rough for them.
