Over the last couple of weeks i have lost two angles a bala shark and a bristle nose plec.
over the last month my water has had green cloudy water which i cant get rid of. I have done water changes and changed my filters regular. The first day or two it lokks like its clearing up abit then its back to normal.
Any advice would be appreciated.

have you cycled the tank before adding the fish? if not they may be getting poisoned by ammonia and nitrites.... do you know the water stats for ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, pH? if not i would buy a test kit for about £18 from ebay to get an idea of where your tank is at in the cycle stage.
if you have cycled the tank and have the relevent kit then how big is the tank? as the angels and balas will need a big tank and keeping them in a small tank will stunt their growth and wont give them much of a quality life.
the green water could possibly be an aglae problem.....

I have the aqua one 850 tank.I have just checked the water levels tonight and all levels are fine i have put adose of anti algae in the tank last week.

Ive had the green water algae problem in the past i tried everything to rid it even 100% water change boiled all ornements and tank and month later it came back again in the end i changed my lighting set up from a over head light to round the tank spot lights and the problem didnt come back.
The green water is algae and loves the light so id sugest if you cant move the tank try light change if all fails..

How much do you feed and how long are your lights on for?

I feed my fish once a day at night 2 pinches of tetra prima and 1 tetra tabimin tablet snapped in half.
I have the lights on 8-10 hours a day.
I noticed last night 4 of my penguin tetras have dissapered. Could it be possible the angels have eaten them and thats made them ill?

Not lost any more fish as yet but my water has gone realy cloudy again.

WOOHOO!!!!
Reduced time the lights were on tank to one hour per day and over period of three days totally cleared up. Been crystal clear now for over a week. Can start populating tank again!
