Hi, In my Roma 90 (20 Gal) tank current stats :-

Ammonia = 0
Nitrite = 0
Nitrate = 10ppm
PH = 7.5
Temp = 27 c

Fluval 2+ Filter
Air stone

I've been loosing the odd fish maybe 1 per 1-2 months, although for example the last remaining Phantom Tetra (5 when 1st brought) same with the sunset platy(5 when 1st brought) have been in the tank for some time now and appear fine along with the bottom feeder and keyholes etc.

The high fin platys only went in this week i brought 4 of these and 1 has already died??? No real symptoms that i could see anyway i have no idea whats causing this as you can see the stats are fine, water change once a week, maybe the temp is a little high?

Any ideas on this most welcolme.

Thanks for looking.

Any signs of flcking and rubbing.
Any excess slime on the body or gills.
What do there gills look like.
Any fish look pale or darker in colour.
Any fish being listless or lethagic.
Are all fish still eating.

No flicking or rubbing
No slime as far as i can see
gills look fine( plenty of airation and the filter gives out quite a strong current)
I've noticed the Betta looking a little pale but not all the time it seems!! + his fins have shortened no bulling noticed and he eats ok
all fish are eating normally

Thanks for your reply.

Usually when there no external sign of ill health and no gasping or flicking and rubbing they say try a bacterial med,
if you are losing quite a few fish.

Anti internal bacteria med by interpet.
