Looking for the name of some fish

I've seen some fish in a tank that I know were not salt water because there was a baby channel cat and some other fresh waters that I recognized. I would like to set up a 30 gallon tank I have with these. One looks almost exactly like a saltwater clown fish but it has black, orange and white bold stripes. I found a picture of the fish on the web but it didn't have the name with it. I've put the picture up beside this post. Another is a brilliant blue and shaped kind of like an angel without the long fins. Do you know what these are? I'm looking for some social bright red, orange, yellow and blue dwarf cichlids to put in this tank. Is there a good source of live fish on the web that anyone can recommend?

bclack can't say that I would be able to tell you what the fish in the pic was without seeing the pic myself. as for the blue fish it sounds like a discus too me.

The blue doesn't look like a discus, Its more like a solid aqua blue- My first thought was a trigger fish or a spade fish but then I realized they weren't salt water fish.

The fish in your avatar is a saltwater clown fish. It's a true perc most likely. I know b/c I have one. The closest thing to a clownfish colorwise would be tiger barbs or clown loaches. I haven't seen anything with the white stripes though.....

Was the blue fish you saw in the same tank with the orange and white fish you saw? I don't know about channel cats, but the clownfish is a saltwater fish, so if they were in the same tank, the blue one most likely is too. There are very few true blue FW fish other than a betta.

Were the FW fish you saw in there mollies? Mollies *can* adapt to SW but are usually seen in FW or the occasional brackish setup.

the angelish fish u describe sounds ike Either a Discus or Mono Sebae. Monos are Brackish so can probly be converted to sw but i dont think they are blue. The fish in Yur Avatar Is Most definately A clownfish. Havent u seen Finding Nemo? The fish you saw Might Be a Filefish. They look like Triggers. Maybe you cna find a picture of Something similiar because i am almost sure that it is a sw fish.
