Looking For Filter Info. Over Kill

I have a 33 gallon tank with 16 small fish
I have a fluval 305 canister filter and a elite 35
filter. I am running both. Is this over kill.
Will the fluval 305 do the job.

The Fluval 305 would be more than enough filtration, although you can never have too much.
All of my tanks are overfiltered and in return, I have good quality water and healthy fish.
