I have plans for my new aquascape
Thanks to jimbooo I'm going to try to make my tank look bigger than it is by going along the miniature theme.
So I'm looking for plants with small leaves that are easy to grow. Any recommendations?
I don't seem to have much luck with bacopa.
Hygrophila polysperma: this plant (I think this is the name...I got it from the aga site) does really well in my tank.
Hair grass is not doing so well, but I think maybe its cos the hygro grows too fast and shades the hairgrass. I'm going to try and have the left side of my tank barer to grow some hairgrass.
I absolutely love jimbooos riccia, so I've given into temptation and will definitely be getting some to cover some slate.
I love my amazon swords, but i think maybe they are not right, just too big for the effect i want
But I don't want to throw them away incase I regret it. Can I set up my small tank (approx 7 gallons at a guess) to store the plants while I make up my mind? Would plants need filtration?
I'm going to keep the vallis and all my little crypt and saggit( ?) type plants for foreground. I have to keep my lilys, I have 2 lily type thing, both are red and they are gorgeous and I guess they make a good focal point.
