I have recently moved house and invested in a 350l tank. Its all set up now, heavily planted low tech, fully cycled fishless, water out the tap is Ph 7.3 GH 7. I am using a bit of crushed coral in the filter to harden the water up gently and I'm hovering around ph 7.5 and GH 10-12 without needing additives to the water. I'm not looking to load the tank up but so far have 5 special guppies and I've got three Boseman's rainbows just to build up the bio load slowly. I had to mail order these just to keep the tank ticking over but the Rainbows provided are not great stock and appear to be all female, they are young and its early days but there isn't any blue on them yet.
So next I want to get two male boseman's but I'm looking for any insight as to where I could buy some better stock? Does any one know any specific breeders or shops that would be able to help? Mainly looking around the Birmingham, UK area.
