lol, i have 6 girls but im not really set up for breeding so i dont want 100's of fry with nowhere to put them!! especially as i could end up with 60 plus males!!! I have 6 tanks on the go as it is!!!
Maybe one day when the kids are older & i can devote ALL my time to them!!

Im the same as yoou, dont want to go into breeding yet, my mum said if i get rid of my goldfish i can have a male betta. I really want a male as im going to breed one of my 10 girls in about a years time, but i just dont want to give away the goldfish even though they need a bigger/better home.

Ahh, what a guy! Can you try scooping up the bubbles and then after changing the water, put the bubbles back in? I read somewhere (book or online) that sometimes helps. . .lol

Question: How big is your tank and do you have a filter? I moved my Betta into a larger tank recently and he's quit blowing bubbles. I'm adding the filter today and am not sure how much mad at me he is going to get.

Hi, he is in a 20 litre Arcadia tank with a filter, the heater is infront of the filter outlet to keep the flow down, think this helps the nest stay so big too!! will try & scoop the nest out as you suggested!!
