Great fish and I love the turtle, such a shame you are so far away from me, but well done they are lovely :good: :

i took a 3 hour class over a year ago and i got the essentials for my birthday 2 weeks ago. It's become an obsession!
Oh and i was thinking about distance for shipping. They're so small - a bubble pack envelope couldn't be that much to ship anywhere i wouldn't think. Probably at the very max. $5 CAD I'll find out for sure though.
They look fantastic hanging on car mirrors!

I am interested in what you need to make them. They look cool I like the kissy looking fish. The only glass working stuff I have seen on tv involved huge kilns that were super hot etc.

Yeah... what do you use to melt glass? I have no idea about this stuff. I thought they only melted glass in huge factories with crazy hot ovens.

it involves rods of coloured glass and a propane tank and a special torch head for glass work, plus the mandrels (steel rods) and a bead release mud type stuff and tools for details etc.
For those interested i'm selling the fish for $5 CAD, turtles $3 small, $5 large, rosebud $20
i'm also working on frogs sitting on beads.

Very neat! Great work on them (from a fellow glasser). Based on my experience, you should be able to ship them for probably $2 to $3 to Canada, maybe a bit more to the USA.
