so hm

here's what we got

so my g/f moved into her new apartment last friday. old building. set up like a motel or w/e with the doors faceing inward in the building and going around the inside with 3 floors. hovering over the pool and such.

so there is something i must show. which yes, it is right outside her apartment door and 2 floors down.

woo! check that out. its about a foot and 1/2 deep. and about 25ft long and about 15ft wide. has an awesome sprinkler in the middle with a gorgeous water fall on the right.

theres around 15-20 koi. i know there is atleast 1 butterfly koi. a white one. beauty. theres aout 3 or 4 larger size koi. bunch of smaller ones. oh its a pretty nice pond. live plants all the way around that spread out into the pond in places. there are also 2 large plecos. one u can see in the last pic. thats the smaller one. i would say he;s around 12"'s. the bigger one is atleast 14 to 15 inches long. he's a monster! i had close up pics of him. but my home computer is..have'n its bad..times right now. so i hadta take 3 new pics which absolutly blow and show no real beauty and do not do justice at all. i'l get better pics soon!

i like this thing! i lean over the edge of the railing on the 3rd floor and just stare down below at all the fishies.

im guessing the apartment complex hired some body to build it and stock it. i will get more pics of it at ground level probably today. its built very well.

yes there are still apartments available. lol

they also have a smaller pond, but it has no water or fish in it right now. its dry so im guessing it leaks or something. im not sure.

and then they have. shoot idk what the size of it is. it looks like a 120g long. the filtration is set up like a sw tank. but its a fw tank. idk. its pretty cool though. built into a wall behind the bar. its awesome

thats amazin! i would be doin my own stocking too lol. a nice knife fish would look amazin in there. and a shoal of angels too those plecs jeeze! i bet they're huge!

yea both plecs are very large and all fish are very tame. the pics i have on MY computer, i have a couple close ups. i mean close ups of the larger pleco.

well. got some more pics. both pleco'smust have been hiding though. didnt see one of them. kinda depressing. since they were the only things i was hope'n to photograph!

hi if i was ever in an apartment it would be that 1 where abouts is it cause to have a 2 plecs it must be heated also the pond would freez right through in winted depending where u are

mm the plecs are great. always see them wondering about. great health. and apparently for there size, they survive through the cold winters we have.

i have more pics. uploading them now. and well, never guess what i spotted in the pond today. 3 to 4 aichlids. not sure if they are africans, south american's or what not. but i deffintaly saw a larger cichlid, blue-ish, brownish tint to it.stripes going up and down. hah it was cruize'n around with 4 other koi. i snapped a pic and will try to spot the lil guy out with ms paint if i can even find him.
