Long time without posting on my part which I apolgise for everybody. Work and family been taking over, must be honest, neglected tank last few weeks :byebye: :*)

Anyway, things looking up now, got my finger out, sorted out all my parameters, got my filter sorted and..............wait for it................added some more fish!!!!

Just added today; 2 x peppered corys, 1 x sunshine platy and 1 x Borneo Sucker. Not added too many in one go to let filter and bacteria adjust to new inhabitants, hopefully adding to this lot a couple of weeks before Xmas. Possibly looking towards another Borneo, a Bristlenose Plec and anything else that can be suggested by your goodselves.

Also, one question.

Who on earth has heard of this Borneo Sucker and has anyone got any info on it!!

I bought it because I liked it and it was a small sucker, just what I am looking but no-where has any info on it.

Thanks everyone

JOHN

Different naming for a borneo sucker is either butterfly loach, or more common, hillstream loach. Its a ' cool water ' fish and will probably not do all too well in a tropical tank (mind you, coldwater tank might be just a bit too cool for them, not sure about that). They feed mainly on algae found on rocks, windows, etc ... They get up to about 6cm.

If it is a hillstream loach then they also need a strong current, as as the name suggests they come from streams :p they go well with white cloud mountain minnows in a cool tank.
