hi everyone,my mate has been given a tank with lots of fish in it 
,he doesnt know the first thing about keeping them(i know a little 
) ) so offered me it instead.what i want to do with this tank is replace my old one,can i mix the new fish with mine or will i get problems?i think there is a molly,two guppys and a few more that i dont know the names for,but will find out before i mix them(dont want any of mine getting eaten 
!!)i know the tank is quite well established as its been up and running for a while,thanks

You will have to give some more information,What fish have you got? What filtration is on both tanks? How big is the tank? Have you got live plants? How many fish will you have in total?
