I have not seen many pictures of bettas with pectoral fins like this. Bit of a rare trait?

He's a fast little bugger too surprisingly.

Woah... He's all "Check out THESE guns *kisses pecs*"
:p heh
Never seen a betta w/ pec fins that long, Very neat, reminds me of a fancy goldfish. Good to hear that he has no problems swimming.
And I must say... LOOOOOVE the coloring! I so want my next betta (whenever that may be) to be of similar coloring.

I have seem long pec fins like that only once or twice before, they dont seem to slow the betta down in any way, I think its very pretty though.

DOOOD breed him...try to breed in that trait of long pectorals..it would be freakin awesome!!!
hes very pretty

its a nice finish to any betta, ive seen a fair few like this but usually they tend to curl which doesnt make them look so nice.

Agree, Get his Genes going, they look so cool

wow breed him!, he is a vt right? ive only seen that trait in solid red cts so his color is a bit of a surprise,, way to go!!

Thx. I love those long fins.... makes him look extra happy when he's wiggling. Named him Kirby :p. and yes, he is a VT

I would LOVE to breed him, but he's my gf's fish that I bought with her and probably a bit past his prime. More of just a good pet now instead of a breeder :)

Would have had more pics, but he's on the rebound from a wicked case of fin rot that is pretty hidden by the angle of that picture. Used to have a back fin that was transparent and red spotted. :( really sad he lost it, but it's coming back slowly.
