Lonely Platy?

I have a single Gold Crescent Mickey Mouse platy in my 20g with guppies, swords, mollies & corys. Do they do well in groups of will he be fine alone? I'm worried because he's been alone in corners of the tank alot with closed fins. Should I get him a girlfriend?

i would put him a girl or two in there i had a platy male and female and they did great together i just recently added a similar size female and she joined their "group"

I would say he could use a bit of company, a couple of Minnies would probably make Mickey a happy camper. Just be careful about over crowding and cross-breeding between platies and swords is possible.

I have platies and swordies in my 30gal....the lyretail swordy hangs with the platies and the neon swordy girl hangs with the whiteskirt tetra They swim EVERYWHERE together
