ahhaha im sooo proud! my other bettas didnt eat any the first time i tried givin them peas

Great shot! My bettas loves peas too haha! got to make it extra short for females though, males appear to have bigger mouths lol! :D

when i first gave Jack a pea he flared at it & wouldnt eat it, but now he gobbles them up!!! Mikey swims round with them in his mouth usually being chased by his shrimp tank mate!!!

all my bettas love peas, but one of my boys grabs a piece and zooms around the tank with it in his mouth.swallow.repeat. :)
BTW, i LOVE your fish. he's gorgeous!!

awh thank you!
and i found him at a petco!
at first he was very shy but now he is super active, always tryin to see what im doing
especially if im eating or drinking something he comes right up to the edge and i swear he is tryin to peek into my cup
LOL
cant wait to give him pea again
soo cutie

Yes, my girl one appears to love them. You can see my post about her going ballistic over her pea. She freaked when I tried to syphen a large piece out of her bowl and chased it up the hose! Luckily I got her out and fed her a smaller bite.

My main guy completely ignored his. He'll ONLY eat from my fingers so when the pea bits started to sink down, he ignored them and waited for another piece that was still on my finger. Ended up giving him Betta Pellets.

i wish mine would eat off my fingers!
maybe with a few tries sake will do it
seems friendly and curious enough :)

i have had no problems with them so far, fully submerged. ill keep that in mind. but i have had them for a couple months now

interesting, LFS that i bought them from had them fully submerged in water too.
no problems yet, but we'll see
